My building has been locking the first floor bathroom because homeless people keep getting into the building. Some of these people have been pissing in the stairwell because you know, people need to relieve themselves and want to do so as privately as possible. So my building would rather have homeless people piss in the stairwell then let them use the fucking public washroom. My building thinks it's better for tenants to walk in human piss than to just let homeless people use the fucking public washroom.
"We don't reject foreigners if they are tourists, singers or famous athletes. We reject them if they are poor". - Adela Cortina about aporophobia (hatred to the poor).

Student loans shouldn't be a thing.

Poor people deserve to live.
Poor people deserve nice things.
Poor people deserve to do things that make them happy.
Just because people haven't worn rags and begged in the streets doesn't mean they don't know hardship and poverty.
I can't believe it's 2022 and this still needs to be said.
