Sam! My TWIN! I can’t remember when we started writingeither, I just remember that she liked angst as much as Idid ( and boy do we make a pair ) and I’ve loved writingwith her. The version of Marian that she has makes mehappy and Marian and Mikael as siblings is just great andwonderful. ( Cue them doing team rocket poses in the back-ground together. ) Great friend and wonderful writer and sucha great artist and I just love writing with her okay.

    Fate is funny. It led Isabela to this port, just to resupply, when she spied a familiar face. She hadn’t seen Hawke since she left Kirkwall, returning the Tome of Koslun to her employers. Using her. There might be some resentment from her for certain. But... The pirate had heard rumors about a group looking for the mage. Seekers of whatever? Didn’t matter. Maybe they’d be willing to pay for her return? 

    She followed the dark haired woman, stealthily, up to the cave where she had apparently made camp. So far away from civilization? What was she hiding from anyways? She stepped into the cavern, clearing her throat. 

    “Well. Fancy meeting you here.”

    A hand drifted around the woman’s waist, pulling their bodies together. The rain had soaked through the white fabric of her chemise, revealing what lay underneath. Isabela didn’t seem to mind. She hoped Hawke didn’t either. A smile graced her lips as her right hand moved a bit of wet hair from Hawke’s face. “Beautiful.” She sighed, looking deep into her blue eyes. To say they were like the ocean was rather cliche, but to Isabela they were. Reminding her of the absolute freedom that she loved about the ocean. That she loved about Hawke. She leaned in slowly, pressing her lips against Hawke’s, holding her close as the rain fell on Kirkwall.

How many of those things were the truth did, indeed, vary. That did not mean, however that Valra’s knowledge of what the woman before them had done was inaccurate. They had never made a habit of keeping track of information that was not truthful --- lies were indeed painful and they never did understand the use behind them, really.

To be                      the stuff of legends is the province of less...                      controversial beings. Myths alone give credence to                      the abilities of magi -- and even those paint them as                      villains, such as the Magisters who encroached                      upon the golden city.  Hawke is hardly the picture of an apostate as the chantry might paint her. Nor is she any imposing figure out of Tevinter history. In fact, she seems to be merely a cautious intruder in the Inquisition’s gardens; one which is abnormally taken with the hydrangeas.                       “ Curious.
