╱❀╲ The Boy looked up at the other with a puzzled face. She spoke words calmly but her mind was filled with hints of fear and surprise.
“I-I am Cole. That is my name.”
“My name is not ‘Spirit’ it’s Cole…”
“I-I am Cole! And you are Morrigan!”
“Not ‘Human lady’ and ‘Spirit’.”
The Boy’s head then hung as he began to whisper.
“Thoughts racing across the mind.“
“Like a horse track. Running and Running with thoughts.”
“Will she find him?”
“Can I trust them?”
“What is this?”
The Boy then looked up at the other before tilting his head as he said.
“Why would you hide Kieran?”
“Did he do something wrong?”
{ M } -- She is perturbed by his uncanny ability to see what he should not see; know what he should not know. Nevertheless, she is also boundlessly curious about him; about any aspect of this world that she cannot immediately understand. Intrigue, more than anything else, keeps her from lashing out when he touches again on the one thing that is most important to her. That, and the fact that she can so easily think of him as achild. ‘Tis probably inadvisable for her to do so, and yet... power does not equate with maturity. His abilities are impressive. They are unique and even unsettling. Still, he feels young. There is no other way to say it. “ Cole,” she repeats. “ Kieran has done nothing wrong. He remains hidden for his own protection. There are... forces in this world that would harm him. He is my son. I would see him safe, at any cost. Do you understand? ”
