While trying to identify some crystals I have, I found this app called CamFind. You can either take a picture, or upload one from your phone and it will tell you what the item is. So to test it out, I tried taking a picture of a crystal that I already knew was amethyst...
Well... it wouldn’t get specific enough. It was worth a shot, right? But then I wondered what would happen if I took a picture of myself....

I Have A Fun Text App On My Phone...Who Would You Like To See Texts Between?

Today I purchased my 1 yr subscription for Corona Sdk. They recently changed their pricing model and I had to purchase by May 1st to lock in the old price of $350. The new rate will be $599 after May 1st. They now offer three tiers, Starter, Pro and Enterprise. Starter is completely free with no Corona banner but does not support in app purchases, daily builds or analytics. The next tier is Pro which is what I got supports the preceding features. Finally there is Enterprise which supports the ability to call any native function call. This new model appears to have angered many indies and hobbyists who only were developing for the App Store. They use to pay only $200 and got access to daily builds and in app purchases but now they have to shell out $599 since the iOS price option has been removed. Since this my first app I will wait to pass judgment after I launch and get more experience on how stable and reliable Corona SDK is for app development.
