No one in their right mind would ever dream of calling Dorcas Meadowes a bad girl in any sense of the term. Dainty, delicate, disgustingly sweet- but never anything that wasn’t associated with fizzy femininity and an overabundance of flower crowns.

Doe was determined to change that.

She’d pleaded with him to help her change her image- well, he hadn’t really taken much convincing; he had seemed all too delighted to help corrupt the ever-innocent Ravenclaw. She had a vague notion that perhaps she wasn’t exactly cut out to be a rebel, but she refused to let that dampen her spirits as she scurried down to the lake one October afternoon after she’d been released from classes, her pink and white satchel bouncing against her back as she ran across the grounds.

He was already by the edge of the lake; she ran up to him with a grin and immediately hugged him tightly around the waist. “Hi!” she chirped happily, “I was half afraid you’d give up on me as a lost cause or something.”

Bio:

Ian comes from a wealthy background. His father a pureblood author who had hardly any time to spend with his children and his mother a halfblood, her bloodline soiled by one halfblood marriage centuries ago. 

Because of this upbringing Ian found himself to be very independant and good at working things out for himself. He had always been one for mischief, his curiosity never driving him to ask someone how something worked or what something was but rather to go see for himself. This left him as the typical little boy with scars covering his knees and dried up mud under his nails.

In Hogwarts Ian was sorted into Ravenclaw like his father. Ian had undeniable talent with the knowledge, he had and never failed an exam in his life (despite how little he had prepared for it). Although he sounds like the dream child he refused his mother’s wish for him to marry  into a pureblood family and found himself disowned, no longer the heir to the Hixon bloodline. He had denied the marriage for the thought of being pinned to one woman for the rest of his life made his stomach turn.

Ffter leaving Hogwarts, Ian found himself moving back to Sheffield in an affordable council flat. Ian soon found himself forced into becoming a Death Eater, the fault of a few of his past Slytherin friends giving information about his undeniably sly wit. That and no one would ever suspect a bartender from Sheffield to be participating in the wrong side of the war.

It wasn't anything special. In fact it was very traditional. The gravestone stood amongst many overs, blending in with its typical appearance. Moss covered the sandstone in thick layers mischievously blocking some of the writing. Ian sat down opposite the grave, his face twitching with a smile after taking the cigarette from his mouth. The cold air making the exhale of smoke blow away with the breeze.

"Eyup Grandad" he began, leaning in closer to the grave.

Taking the small ticket from his pocket he held it up. 

"Your footy team lost. Serves you right supporting Man city. Lost a good twenty quid on that bet too."

Folding it back into his pocket the boy sat back, taking another drag of his cigarette. Throwing it to the floor and treading on the cigarette butt, his gaze returned to the headstone. 'Michael Hixon. 1905-1967.' A weak sigh escaped his lips. Standing back up he quickly fixed his hair and neatened the collar of his leather jacket.

"Same time next year then."
