1. What is your favourite mythical creature?
I am fond of Celtic folk lore, studied it when I was about 11. So banshees, fairies, or kelpies. I haven't thought about that in a while!
2. Favourite author?
Markus Zusak, John Green, and Kelley Armstrong. Please don't make me pick! Although, I guess for overall I'd go for Armstrong, as there are more of her that I've read and enjoyed.
3. Last time you cried over something fictional (I mean legit tears, none of this tumblr “I’m crying!11!!11” talk.)
That would be watching the Supernatural episode Swan Song, which I re-watched last week.
4. Do you go for the heroes, or the villains?
Heroes, usually it takes a lot more skill to write a good villain, and many writers don't have the talent. I mean, look at the Master in Doctor Who? Although, even if the villain is good, usually the hero is more compelling. Give me an anti-hero any day, which are my favourite.
5. Do you have a kink?
I will not let most foods touch each other on my plate. Just no.
6. Are you a coffee person, or a tea person? (Both is a legit answer =)
Tea, hands down. I work in a coffee fast-food chain, and I think that stuff is awful tasting. Give me a good exotic tea any day. I consider myself to be a bit of a tea condenseur actually.
7. Is there a celebrity that you, without pause, look up to as a hero?
I've never really thought about that. I would say historical women, such as Marilyn Monroe, who were not afraid to express their sexuality and refused to bow down to society's expectations. I admire that strength and would love to go though life just as liberally. That's just role models though. Hero-wise I'd say Martin Luther King Jr.
8. What is your favourite thing to study?
History and folk lore. Haven't lately, but in my free time I could research that stuff for hours.
9. Swords, or Guns?
I prefer to avoid weapons generally, but guns are more effective.
10. What frustrates you most of all?
Blindly bigoted people who refuse to see the other side. Even if you think that you are right, don't overlook the other argument all together. I also hate bigotry in general.
11. A place you would rather be than where you are right now?
I am going out with my friend tonight, and because the friendship is fairly new and therefore exciting, and the restaurant is going to be nice, I'd rather be there. That or travelling to Italy.
