I'm planing on dying my hair pastel blue. But on the box it says not to mix with hydrogen peroxide. Yet the professional hairdresser working at the store recommended a peroxide based developer. Is it safe to use this with pastel dye???

Hello! Always follow the instructions on the box! Whilst its tempting to trust professionals, they can’t always get everything right. If the directions on the box don’t get you the results you want, then maybe seek advice on the brand via google and see if anyone else has mixed it with a developer. 

Generally you don’t ever need to use a developer with bright or pastel dyes as they are vegetable based! What brand is the dye?
