Refining the current animation assets.

So, we had feedback from our mentor and the mentor pinpoints that refining animations that we already had is more important than having more of it. Quality over quantity. I considered the game should be relaxing and fun as it plays, but apparently, animations such as rolling and walking glitchy are told that they ruin the ambiance and feeling of our game concept. I did try to make them look good back then, now they look less complete and missing something over feedback. Therefore, I decided to take a step back in time once again from the beginning.

I manipulated the existing animations by looking more references for each animation this time. So far, we have got some animations that are already made and the quantity is fairly enough to experience some features of our game. Thus, I will stop making more assets of animation and begin to focus on refinement to be even more detailed and smooth as my last task before the presentation.

I'm planing on dying my hair pastel blue. But on the box it says not to mix with hydrogen peroxide. Yet the professional hairdresser working at the store recommended a peroxide based developer. Is it safe to use this with pastel dye???

Hello! Always follow the instructions on the box! Whilst its tempting to trust professionals, they can’t always get everything right. If the directions on the box don’t get you the results you want, then maybe seek advice on the brand via google and see if anyone else has mixed it with a developer. 

Generally you don’t ever need to use a developer with bright or pastel dyes as they are vegetable based! What brand is the dye?

Introducing Savvy Spotlights

Rock stars, ninjas, gurus... those standout people that can code or hack in their sleep. Name any tech sector and they all have them. It's a surprise how we're all still surviving without bursting our eardrums intact or having our arms chopped off. 

Thankfully, there's a backlash and all that is going out of style (not completely though... I still see job posts for rockstars, and developers calling themselves ninjas... guys, come on!). 

At On Savvy, we want to give really good talents the stage they deserve, without the hype. On Savvy has always been, and will always be, about the talents. It's with this in mind that we're introducing a new series called Savvy Spotlights. This is where we showcase people that have been doing good work, and just as importantly, have also been giving back to the community and helping others. These are the types of people that push the industry forward.
