This might be a dumb question but, how did you learned english?Also, why father John is named John?

A bit in school, mostly online! I had a really good English teacher in elementary school, but every teacher I had from middle school onwards was so bad, I actually ended up forgetting a lot of what I’d learned when I was little. I actually failed my English class when I was 14. Then what happened is that I began looking up fanfiction for stuff that had no fandom whatsoever on Italian websites, and that’s what got me to try again and brush up what I still remembered. We still ony had one PC in the house and my access to it was limited, so I would print out fanfic and read it with an English dictionary at hand. Then I needed the dictionary less and less, and eventually I didn’t need it at all, at which point I decided to try writing in English myself. The results were... bad. But hey, practice makes perfect, or at least passable. ... So yeah I learned English because I wanted to read fanfic, so sue me.

The meta reason why John is named John is that we wanted him to have the blandest white guy name, John Johnson (which the people of Santa Cecilia would find pretty exotic to his utter annoyance!) In-universe, so to speak, John’s family had a tradition of giving all their children Biblical names. His father is called David, his mother Rachel, and his siblings, Sarah, Michael and Ruth.

lmao maybe some day honestly, i’m very tempted to have all of my children. (but lol if you or anyone else want any of the alebrijes or other items they sell at disney world i could totally send one your way if you cover the costs...or maybe for a trade of something? ) but the chihuahua was $34.99...$28 after my discount at least....the cheapest out of the bunch due to simplicity and size but still three more of them would be quite a bit ^^;
