One more post yâall, another art trade!
with @robinluvsyou999 on TikTok!! Our favorite Fortnite characters for each other! I gave them agent web and i asked for snow patroller! Much older skin but heâs so tuff!
I wanted to work more with my backgrounds, especially after the last trade đ, I love snow patroller, heâs such a cool skin! Definitely happy with it :33
Honestly, I don't think it's worth trying the design a sprite thing. It's pretty clear the only people with a chance is people who praises every decision the game makes.
Still gonna do something, just because I think creating is fun. I had an idea for a mechanic that I think sounds fun. Idk
Yesterday, I finally got time to play! And I got my first win in my first match! I also got my first crowned win, but I have no screenshot of that one lol.
And something strange happened. What are the odds of getting two fish Midas from normal fishing spots with a common fishing rod? I don't know, but I got two and I felt very lucky jdjd
It's maybe because it takes me a painfully long time to get used to the new mechanics, but I'm not liking the sprite hunting thing
They can't kill Jones, Slone is alive and she has survived a lot... C'mon he can't be dead...right?đĽ˛đĽ˛
Oh no Geno is hot
Asides of that, this was a good event. Felt like those of the end of the season, but better.
THIS SEASON WAS... Ok. Ok it was fun.
I did not like the rivalries system that much because I'm used to, avoid fighting, but it was quite fun when you didn't have a guy following you for the whole map. You know, when you didn't have to fight a guy with a ton of victories during the first week lol.
If I had know getting Jess was that easy, I would've done the quests sooner, not in the very last day đđ
If everything goes well, I might actually get to see the event tomorrow đ Current plan:
Switch
Mobile data
Potentially breaking into my brother's house
I have obligations afterwards and can't make it back home in time, so we're taking special measures
I'm surprised to see so many people didn't know Dylan is an unisex name. I knew it, not because I spent an unholy amount of time looking for gender neutral names starting with D for The DiamondChance kid, of course. Dylan was never in the list because it sounds way too American, but still, it was there, and it was interesting to know it.
Still, I don't like that name for her, mostly because the only Dylan for me is this one
Montague is probably more aware of the women Nolan find attractive. Not because he thinks he's going to cheat on him as soon as possible, but because he knows he hasn't stopped liking women: He likes women AND Montague. Nolan notices when a woman is attractive, he can mention it. He had encounters with women and had never stopped feeling attraction for them.
And for Montague, as prideful and obsessive as he is (asides of quite insecure in certain emotional aspects), thats uncomfortable. He knows hes competing in a category in which Nolan has plenty of options. Nolan probably sees a pretty woman, mentions it and two minutes after that he's thinking about something else. But the comment lingers for longer in Montague's mind.
With time, Nolan understands that, whatever he was doing to show Montague he had nothing to hide from him wasn't as well recived as he thought, so he learns to "appreciate" them in silence. he gives a quick glance and keeps minding his business. Of course, Montague notices and awaits for a comment that never arrives. Sometimes he's the one that would mention it. Both agree they're good looking, and they keep going with their lives.
My only problem with that skin is people's hypocrisy lol. Now everyone is like "if you sexualize her that says a lot of how you see women", and defending it because women can wear whatever they want. But they were the same who called gooners other players when they complained about Calamity's censorship, because "Oh you weirdo want to see boobs? Stop objectifying women!!".
I just wish people would stick to the same standards instead of changing them depending on the skin, or their mood, idk
I didn't know the absent shard had the same rift effect as the shard, asides of that, I though death by fall damage had been removed. I hate this so much, it was such perfect match đ
Remember when I told you having devs interacting with the community was a mistake? Yes, exactly. I've told you, not every voice deserves to be heard
Allow me to elaborate.
There's nothing wrong with developers interacting with the community. In fact, people clearly enjoy it, as we saw these past days with he community day thing. The issue is when the line between developer and fan becomes too blurry. At some point, some players stop seeing devs as employees doing their job and start seeing them as friends, the more passionate and relatable a dev appears, the easier it becomes for people to develop some... unrealistic expectations.
Interaction is good. It helps people feel heard. But there still needs to be some professional distance. Not because developers shouldn't be passionate, but because once people feel too familiar with them, they're more likely to treat them like any other fan, except with even more entitlement, because they start believing the dev personally owes them something.
Wow the new battle pass is, like kids say, so ass
Oh boy it's getting real
