2. Are you moving away or staying home? Moving away
3. What’s a school that you love but won’t be applying to and why? Northwestern: their Computer Science program (my intended major) isn’t as good as UIUC’s, and they’re super expensive
4. What is a school you considered but is no longer on your list and why? Cornell: I didn’t like how much of a hassle it is to reach their campus. tbh also because I didn’t want to write a 650 word essay oops
5. The biggest advice you’d give your high school freshman self? Don’t stress so much. You are smarter than you think!
6. biggest fear about college apps? Not getting accepted anywhere
7. What are your top 3 schools? Vanderbilt, Carnegie Mellon, MIT (hahaahahahahaha...)
8. what are 2 majors that sound interesting to you? Computer Science and anything CS related
9. Have you visited any colleges, if so, which? Northwestern, UChicago, WashU, Vandy, Duke, CMU, CWRU
10. what’s your biggest high school accomplishment? [ personal, academic etc ] National Merit Scholar: I remember as a freshman, looking in absolute AWE at all the seniors who were National Merit Scholars and thinking, “That’s who I’m going to be in 4 years.”
11. If you could create your ideal college, what three features would it have? Small class sizes, focus on interdisciplinary studies, happy student body
12. Describe the ideal student at your future college in three words or phrases: Intelligent but not solely dedicated to their studies, friendly, multi-faceted, kind.
13. What is a subject/ skill you’d like to study in college that has nothing to do with your field? Writing

19. what’s something you’d like to do differently than you did in high school? Love myself, focus on myself, have confidence in myself.
20. ok finally, what college application resource has been your favorite/ most helpful so far? Being friends with people who are obsessed with getting into prestigious universities. seriously i get all my information from them
