A Quick Overview of My Eighth Grade Year
From the beginning: Every day started the same for a while; breakfast, going to school, attending etiquette school, playing soccer (and beating Coby), and just hanging out with friends. Until mom decided to go back to work.....in Kentucky. That’s when things went off track. My sleeping got worse, my grades tanked, Don and Dean got more aggressive, developing a crush on April, feeling like I had food poisoning then realizing that my appendix burst- just the usual. I had to take three weeks off from soccer and deal with my parents divorce. In the end, I defeated the bullies, got the girl, and I got a gift from my librarian. What a year.
