Ontario's apple crop is worse than expected
Ontario Apple Growers association chair Brian Gilroy says that it looks like Ontario apple farmers have lost about 88 per cent of their crop this year. This might not seem like a big deal to anyone out there however this also means fewer people needed to pick apples. With less jobs.... well we all know where we end up.
This is going to cause a increase of price and less local grown fruit and possibly and shortage of "kinds" of apples.Hopefully next years season is better then this on is shaping up to be.
