“How about I just tell her?”
Red was gazing at A.G. from the other side of the room. Apple Red was tired of this. They were childhood friends, but when your friend has a crush on your twin, it kinda changes the relationship you have with them. Especially when said twin is hotter than you.
“Tell her what?” Red just raised her head from her hands and looked at A.R.
“That you are madly in love with her?” A.R. raised an eyebrow. “I already confessed, I think she might tell.”
“She's my twin, I know how she thinks, she can't tell.”
Red sighed and kept watching how A.G. drew flowers on the corner of her notebook. She was so pretty. And Red was so... Red. A.G. was so girly and pretty, always smelling like a field of flowers and vanilla, hair hanging loose till her shoulders. She was so damn pretty, and Red was so not for her. She probably didn’t even like girls. And she probably wouldn’t like a girl like Red, nerdy tomboy that enjoyed spending full days on the internet, on her blog, alone, in her room. Also reading gay fanfiction. A.G. surely didn’t even know what fanfiction was. Although sometimes Red wondered if A.G. was in any fandom. Maybe she did know whay fanfiction was and had a fandom in common with Red. But chances were she’d never know.
“Do you think I got a chance?” mumbled Red.
“Maybe if you actually talked to her. Let her meet you and she could fall for you.”
“Do you know if she even likes girls?” she said, crossing her arms over her desk and laying her head on them.
“Considering I’m her twin, it’s strange, but I’ve no idea. I guess I never consider it important so I never asked. I don’t even know if she had a crush on anyone on the last couple years.”
“So maybe she does?”
A.R. sighed and nodded. She was missing a training session with the team just to hear Red whine about her sister. This was friendship.
