so I happen to be in a "glasses" off with my pal lil, and well.
I think I win.
Promised Land
I wrote this wannabe sonnet for littleboneshaker, payment for a reading. She works closely with some death-related deities so this idea came to mind.
A young girl came upon the gate of Death She knocked three times and called “Hello?” Those words escaped in her final breath, And The Reaper brought her below.
“Welcome to my world, my child.” The Reaper showed her around the tomb. The girl looked around and smiled, Her smile made the flowers bloom.
“It’s nothing like I’d thought it’d be!” It was dark, but light all in one. The Reaper nodded to agree, “It’s all for you my little one.”
She danced and sang, twirled through leaves, She laughed and played with friends. She grew close to all the other entities And learned the death is not the End.
“Welcome to Death” The Reaper greets, taking your soul into his loving hand. Death need not be dark and scary, welcome to the Promised Land.
The card deck sounds really cool, but I would also enjoy a reading from Cloud Atlas? It's your choice! c:
I'm tempted to do both, but I should probably test the deck out on myself and get to know it first... So I did Cloud Atlas.
He sniggers. "Hey, has the cat been telling you things?""Richard, just so there's no uncertainty, I'd rather jump off this balcony that sleep with you, any time of the month. I really would."
-- Cloud Atlas, David Mitchell, pg. 91 (start of Half-Lives: The First Luisa Rey Mystery)
Thanks! I'll probably do readings with that deck another time, and include pictures, because the deck has a really odd feeling to it.
Heyyy so... I was wondering if I could get a reading with the Pokemon TCG? I've been planning to make my own TCG but I can't find my old decks... and I was wondering if it could be on the topics of spirits? Thank you for your attention. <3 -littleboneshaker
You’re the first person who’s asked for a reading from this deck, so thank you! I’d been wanting to test it on others. :D
I did a three card draw, and put them in a line.
Snorlax: Something could be blocking your path. You might need something special to get it out of the way. Or this could represent a block that’s stemming from laziness, or someone/something that’s lazy.
Pikachu: I usually go with the Pokédex entry on this card (“When several of these Pokémon gather, their electricity can cause lightning storms.”), but the card could also indicate something that’s ubiquitous, easily recognizable, and well-loved — almost everyone knows a pikachu when they see it.
Mewtwo: Something unique, cloned, without a place of its own. Strong psychic powers.
That’s the general stuff for each card. You can also interpret the illustrations, typing, HP, weaknesses and resistances, attacks, which deck they’re from, and personal memories/associations with each pokémon. There’s a lot to go on, which is why I linked to the exact cards I have.
I hope this helps, it was fun. ^^
(also, if you want this private I can take it down)

I was really tired of having a hyphen in my name... it makes my URL an untrackable tag.
Continue on as usual.
