i realised this when watching through season two of ii with my mum but forgot to mention it… both times apple got separated from marshmallow (which both marked major changes in their relationship) it was thanks to a falling boulder… so i propose to you this:
apple gets tense around boulders. it’s a very subconscious thing she isn’t quite sure about… she can’t quite put her finger on it, but whenever she sees any large-ish rock, her grip around marshmallow tightens a little from anxiety…
whatever that means.
i couldn’t stop saying „yeah, come to mama” while drawing this. addictive
watched a matt rose video, blacked out, woke up with this on my screen
Applr buge
applr buge s .?
hold the bugs…
ourghghh if apple had a childhood i just KNOWWWWW she’d be a tantrum baby. she has a lot of emotions that need to be carefully attended to or she’ll lose it… she also has very low tolerance to a lot things and needs things to go her way specifically. obviously very different to her current self
i think apple would lean slightly more towards sensory seeking (i feel like she is almost CONSTANTLY stimming in some way to keep her mind occupied), but once she reaches her perfect stimulation zone, it is really easy to tip her over the edge into overstimulation
season one apple would be more prone to meltdowns, but after her big Emotional Surpression thing and need to be tolerable to people she trained herself to like. show as little emotion as she can. so now she’s more of a shutdown girlie.
my poor girly :(
