asher felt like the wedding was a blur. meeting them at the alter was not the way he planned his life, but now he was married to someone he did not know. he felt himself in a whirlwind and he almost felt sick that he couldn’t have found a partner before he turned the age of assigned spouses. okay, so they weren’t unattractive but he did not know a single thing about them. how does he start a conversation with them? 

he stood in front of them, offering a hand for their first dance. “so... hey.” he murmured, awkwardly, feeling disheveled about the whole situation. “you look good- not that i know what you look like uh... usually.”

“so um...what do you say, should we try this out?” the raven haired male questioned towards the other, hands stuffed into his pocket and rocking back and forth on his feet. feeling once again as if he was back in middle school or something. the first bubbling of romance or moreso of a crush being admitted outloud, that was what was happening currently. daehwi had let it slip that they have gained a crush on the other and this is where they were now. outside by the local park, daehwi feeling a mixture of nervousness but also hope in asking in whether or not they should try to well, date. sure things may have been said but the last thing the male wanted was to have the other feel like they must go out with him. please, he can handle a little embarrassment in his life and a little rejection. he’s no longer five.

a smirk played on his lips, a gentle chuckle filling the air as he looked down at them. he’d actually enjoyed himself, which was rare because usually people bored the hell out of him. but them - they seemed worth spending another day with. “shut up,” he said jokingly, “shut up + let me take you out on another date,” he says leaning towards them more, putting his hand above their head on the brick wall behind them. “i enjoyed myself, you enjoyed yourself. let’s do this again sometime. hm?” he says lustfully eyes looking directly in theirs, not pulling his gaze at all.
