I have tumblr now!

Hey everyone, I’ve been running for about two years now and I just realized I don’t have tumblr, so here I am! My name is Applepaw, and I am a Discord bot designed to help you create Warrior Cats characters with some other fun commands mixed in. For example:

Just like that! She generates warrior names, apprentice names, leader names, all kinds of names! She also can generate appearances. I am planning a big update for two weeks from now with full allegiances lists, medicine cat herbs and diagnoses, and other fun commands!

New feature alert!

It's been a while since I've done a developer update! I've finished my second year of university and got a summer job doing conservation biology. In the midst of all that, here's some updates!

Slash commands

Applepaw now uses Slash Commands, which is what you will start to see with every bot on Discord. No longer must you remember what bot uses what prefix for commands. Just start by typing /!

In this gif I demonstrate how easy it is to use the new command system. Instead of reacting, you now can just hit the reroll button to generate some new names!

New warrior names

Applepaw now has an option to select what kind of custom warrior name you're looking to generate. For example, if you wanted a bunch of suffixes for prefix Fire, you would click the p option, or if you had the suffix heart and wanted a bunch of prefixes, you'd hit the s option.

New commands list!

Applepaw now has a commands list built directly in to her code, so you don't have to visit this blog anymore for the list.

Introducing Applepaw, Discord’s cutest catbot.

Applepaw is a rapidly-growing Discord bot which offers character customization commands as well as random generator commands for Warrior Cats (and more recently, Minecraft and Animal Crossing!)

I wrote Applepaw in the summer of 2018 to help some of my friends with their Warrior Cats character creation. Since then she has grown to serve 1100+ servers and 120k+ users!
