Fic or treat! TimKon, meet-cute on a balcony 👀

Kon notices the person lounging on the penthouse balcony halfway through a fight, and ends up distracted enough that he gets knocked into the bay. At least the cold water helps him get his head back in the game. Mostly.

After the battle, he circles back to the building.

"Most people would just call if they wanted to meet up," he comments, touching down on next to the lounge chair.

"Thought I made it clear I'm not most people," Tim says, tipping his sunglasses down with a wicked smile.

"No," Kon agrees, his voice cracking halfway through. "You're really not."

✨jeremy heere, because you are your own worst critic, and that self doubt stunts your growth, but because of your poor self esteem you consider it proof that you at least right about one thing; everything about you is so terrible. Its not though, and everyone around you can attest to the fact that you are just wonderful. (Was that too frank? Im not sure. Dont feel pressured to post a response. <3)

It’s funny- the only other character I’ve ever been compared to was Pearl from Steven Universe and the reasoning was relatively the same.

Did you know my biggest fear after losing my memory is disappointing people I love? Or not being good enough for them. I used to have hundreds of friends but never close ones because of it and I rarely showed emotion to the point where I was called heartless regularly. 

The reason I bring this up is because now I have some really close friends and I’m more open about my emotions which makes me feel more vulnerable. I think this has made my self-esteem go down because I feel like there are now a lot more people who can actually give me valid judgement on my worth and I don’t think I can live up to their perception of me.

Actually, that was the main reason (besides being trans) that I changed my name. After the mental illness set in and I basically became an invalid I felt that I could not live up to my deadname’s identity. I no longer made good grades. I no longer created things consistently. I could no longer function as a human being without assistance. There was too much pressure.

Uh. Anyways. Thank you for sending this in. I don’t think it was too frank. Or, rather, I don’t see it as a bad thing. I’ll definitely keep it in mind and I’ll try not to be too hard on myself.

ALSO. If I had a squip they’d probably look like @iaveinabox and would motivate me to do things by promising food or art because telling me negative things about myself just makes me shut down.
