I’ve been thinking of all the things I’d want to say about today but I’ll just start with my heart is filled with immense gratitude. My journey with Apple started 10 years ago at Highland Village as a Specialist. I was just a 20-something artist who wanted benefits and a steady pay check…what I got was a life full of memories, beautiful friendships, experiences, and a path I never expected. To everyone who has been there for me or part of my growth…thank you. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without all of you. You all gave me the courage to be myself and to truly see the world for all its complexities, layers, and beauty. And thank you to my real ones out there I call friend who I’ve deeply and sincerely loved. I thank you guys for believing in me and loving me, even when I didn’t believe in or love myself. Thank you for pushing me to be creative and strong. Thank you for having my back, for speaking life over me, making me laugh when I’ve wanted to cry, shoot for being there when I did cry. I’m so blessed to have your love and friendship. I will forever appreciate you. To thee 🔑who referred me, thank you and I won’t embarrass you. Frank, Deb, Kerri- thank you for taking a chance on me and truly believing I could do great things. Heather…thank you, I love you, you changed my life (that’s all you get for another 10 years 😂). Stacy, you’re a real one and I can not even begin to tell you how much I appreciate you for bringing me to the App Store. You gave me confidence as a writer and creative that no one can ever take away. Vincent, thank you for bringing me back to my Music roots and pushing me to take the gig 😆…Oliver it’s truly an honor to work with you and learn from you just in this short while, thank you for this incredible opportunity. Black@Apple fam, you’ve brought me to myself, it’s been my pleasure serving and leading with such wonderful people. Y’all just thank errbody! I’m so grateful. You have helped give me a dynamic and literally unbelievable 10 years at one of the best companies in the world. It doesn’t end here…watch what I tell you. 😎#Appleversary #Apple #blackwomenintech #womenintech #AppleStore #SiliconValley #3612 (at Apple Highland Village) https://www.instagram.com/p/Caytlj3F2IQ/?utm_medium=tumblr
