I dunno if anyone's said anything about it yet, but I've always thought (especially now) that there should be an app that helps you make friends. Like a dating app, but platonic y'know?
I think I've heard of something like it being made, but I'm not sure. Tumblr is the closest thing to it I suppose, but when I try to initiate a conversation with someone I notice having similar interests as me, they either have too many messages to go through or they just don't want to talk to me.
I want an app where you can just type something in a search box like "j-rpg gamers" and then there's a list of people you can interact with and talk about games you both love to play or how you love the genre overall. Or if you're someone who wants recommendations and/or wants to get to know about a topic more.
I know for me it'd help me feel less lonely, heh..
