Why do you want to be affiliated with this group? It seems interesting~

       “ holographic projection will definitely be an asset. ” that’s actually one of the few things regarding security systems that murderbot didn’t know a lot about; it hadn’t encountered many. or at least, many convincing ones. admittedly, it was curious already, though refrained from commenting on that. “  i... look forward to working with you., i guess. ”

Why do you want to be affiliated with this group?: I've spent as long as I can remember guarding my home kingdom. It gave me purpose and gave my life meaning. Spirale is no home to me, but I've come to appreciate the people in it and I want to protect them if I'm able to.

In addition, I’ve spent years privately researching lethal and non-lethal weapons. I don’t want to sound full of myself, but I can also fix just about every type of machinery as long as I’m given the time to familiarize myself with it. Why do you want to be affiliated with this group?: Making defensive weapons and protecting people was a large part of my life before I came to Spirale. I’d like to work for a company that will use my research to defend people instead of hurting them.

       there’s something about that last sentence that strikes a chord with murderbot more than anything else he stated. probably, because it was a weapon that was now repurposed to defend people, instead of hurting them. it didn’t want to think about that too much. 

      regardless, the rest of his application was sound, and it made a decision easily. “ your experience seems like it speaks for itself. as....do your....personal motivations. ” murderbot didn’t need to know specifics, and it didn’t want to get into a talk about feelings. “ i believe you’re a highly qualified individual for the position. so... ” it trailed off, awkwardly.  “ congratulations. ”

Experience: “Well I’ve been in the military since I was 13, but by 16 I was in an elite combat group called SOLDIER. We took all sorts of missions, a lot of which required some level of quiet or security about them. I’ve bodyguarded personnel of the corporation I worked for, so I do have specific experience in that field, too! Also I’m a pretty fun and amicable guy, so I can help your clients feel at ease about their situation while being a professional.”

Why do you want to be affiliated with this group? “You guys look cool and there’s not really a military or anything to run and join. Even if there was…Eh, I can’t say I’m very fond of big corporations anymore!”

        “ i’m not going to lie, i’m...concerned about the age of your military service. ” but it wasn’t really one to talk, when it was barely four years old. it was in the past anyway, and who knows what kind of ordeals went on in other worlds. “ ... anyway, your experience is more or less perfect for this position. and...i’d appreciate someone who’s better on the social side with the clients than i am. and i...actually understand the distaste for corporations. ” murderbot confesses, having been owned by one for the majority of its life. it gives a nod in agreement. “ um, welcome aboard. ”

[wade:] you’ve doomed this specific corner to insect infestation. headcanons/direction you want to take with your character: smol gay sad spider. he lives w/ aunt may. doesn’t remember what his parents were like, they died in a plane crash and his aunt and uncle never really got to the point of being comfortable talking about it. lived in queens basically all his life until uncle ben’s death then aunt may wanted more space. in elementary school and middle school he was bullied by flash thompson, who moved away during junior high. after uncle ben died, which was when peter was in 8th grade, aunt may and him moved to marville. where flash thompson just so happened to also move. uncle ben died in a mugging while coming home from an event that he invited peter to, but peter chose not to go with him. peter blames himself and to this day gets uncomfortable when people go out at night alone. aunt may works two jobs and isn’t home often, but peter loves her and appreciates everything she does for him. peter works as a paperboy, hoping to one day be a photojournalist, but for now content to just be helping aunt may. could have his liscense, but doesn’t because he’s nervous about the test.

name ooc: roxanne ooc pronouns: she/her age ooc: 19 kik: cutestfuckingzombie skype: goddamn.phoney character you are applying for: peggy carter  rp sample: nail polish fumes fill the room, a fan directed towards the open window not powerful enough to waft away the stench of toluene but just powerful enough to drown out the sound of a worn record. some sixties girl group or another. as her right hand dries, she idly flips through the pages of a magazine.   while not as classically feminine as the rest of her, this military magazine does not feel out of place in the scene. the rapid vibration of a cellular phone breaks the spell, and it is answered with utmost propriety. utmost propriety which, of course, involves a whole lot of curse words.
