My applied linguistics course has been super interesting and enjoyable. This week we studied the International Phonetic Alphabet, consonant production, and vowel production. With this information, we looked at how ESL/ELL instructors could offer better advice on correcting pronunciations by understanding the manner, place, and voicing of consonants.
