Bonus thought: Fem Spiderman (no, not spiderwoman. Again- not every female spider person thats not ghost spider is spiderwoman) Standing off to the side eating a sandwitch, cassually going "damn, they snatched your weave and you snatched their spines" while fem deadpool stands there clipping back on the pony tail 😤

Like was it culturally expected to arm any children you happened to come across in 'Rule's era? The kind of "it takes a village" mentality? Is it still a thing people do years later, and we don't see it because he's considered an adult now? He didn't arm the kid he rescued, but he stayed with him, so maybe it's only a "if you leave them alone" thing. Maybe it's like, whether or not you're the kid's parent, if you separate from them you're obligated to give the kid something, a weapon or food or such, and as long as you do that it's not child abandonment. But if you let them go empty handed, anything after that is on your head?
