Hopefully when I go to my appointment today I'll be more than 1 cm and 25% effaced. Also I hope they're going to be willing to strip my membranes. Fingers crossed.
39 week appointment.
So my blood pressure was fine today but they wanted me to do a 24 hour urine sample thing and if the results come back abnormal from that they want to induce me. :/ She decided to check my cervix today and i wasn't even a centimeter. Today's appointment pretty much sucked.
36 week midwife appointment!!
My appointment today went pretty good. Tested for group b and since my ankles were GIANT she did an protein test which came back fine. I emailed her my birth plan when I got home- (part of my birth plan states how I don't want baby getting the vit K injection) she emailed me back saying she'd like to speak with me further about the importance of the vitamin k injection. I've done my research THOROUGHLY and wouldn't have opted out if I hadn't. IMO, I do not believe that injecting my newborn with a preservative laden adult dose of a synthetic vitamin at birth is nessasary. I just really hope she will be able to respect my wishes for my child and doesn't attempt to guilt trip me about it. Anyways, I seriously cannot believe I'm 36 weeks and could pretty much have him any day now. I am so excited to meet my little man :,).
Midwife appointment yesterday!
She prescribed me antibiotics and medicine for my terrible cough. Also brought in the ultrasound because she couldn't feel his position very well and he's head down! :) I start seeing her every week now. So insane! Can't believe I'm going to meet my baby soon!
