Oh but to see her there

Laughing with those

Stars in her eyes

Kind and genuine

Teller of truths

And never lies

Golden halo over

Her head

Crowning her goddess

Wings spread

From her back

Gifting her flight

And travel

But she needs

No such talents

For she has all

The talent she needs

Right here

At her table

Of creation and craft

Smiling at her paper

Pen between her

Masterful fingers

Drawing beauty

Spilled from ink

And her touch

Streaking the wonders

Of what she sees

Beyond her pretty gaze

Splattering her canvas

With things nicer than

What you’d find in

Wonderland hazes

And night-time dreams

Bleeding her love into

What surrounds her

And even I

So far away

Her perfection blurry

From the distance

Between us

I smile and

Hope that one day

Someone as such

Would come by me

And fill my solitude

So that I in the

Dark and the depths

Could finally find

Some joy of

Being blessed by an

Angel.
