Name: Anele Nakala

Part 3

Anele and Julian, aka I Need to Make Up a Good Ship Name For Them

Anele met Julian when the Red Plague was getting worse in Vesuvia and she volunteered to become an apprentice under Julian. The attraction to each other was there from the beginning but with so much going on between treating sick patients, dealing with Lucio, and their own personal lives.

They didn't have enough time or chances to act on it yet.

They'd seek each other out to talk, for a hug, advice, and he'd make hir laugh during such a difficult time (a big badge of honor for Julian).

They finally act on their feelings with a kiss and have sex, a week before Anele gets infected with plague.

During the events of Julian's route, they rekindle their bond but Anele insists and makes Julian keep his word about being honest with hir from now on. In the end, Anele's going on adventures she always dreamed of and the love she was seeking.

Apprenticember Day 4

Claudia, Bhekithemba, and Anele have met the courtiers but the way I have the courtiers down is different from canon.

There was someone on Tumblr that mentioned the courtiers having glamour on them to cover up their actual appearance from the public but the apprentice can see through that. Not only am I subscribing to that, but I’ll also add that since my apprentices are from a country that drilled the lesson of staying away from from dark spirits/demons, an intuition that sticks even after their death, all three of them are wary of the courtiers.

I can see Anele being the most suspicious of them and she is not shy about expressing it, even subtly.

Claudia will be suspicious but she’ll be polite while questioning everything.

Bhekithemba would try to be chill but Vulgora and Vlastomil would start to rub him the wrong way.

All three of them would be the most freaked out by Valdemar, since their so...out there. For Bhekithemba and Anele, Volta would take second place  because she’s so small, I can see them accidentally run into her a few times due to the height difference.

But Valerius, that’s something special. Claudia would hold the biggest grudge and attitude towards him until the end of Muriel’s route for spilling wine on her and ruining her clothes. They weirdly enough get along pretty well after Muriel’s route and Muriel surprisingly becomes friends with him.

Bhekithemba was almost ready to throw hands but he calmed down and threw shade instead. “I question your leadership if you can’t even hold a glass of wine right.”

Anele would just trade death glares with him from then on. Up this times three when Anele meets the court as Matabele’s army general when she’s part of Bhekit’s entourage.

Apprenticember Day 7

Anele

In Muriel's route, Anele is outfitted in hir casual but professional garb as the general of the Matabele army. I'm thinking of making updates to hir outfit later but some details.

Hir muscles are more defined here due to rigorous training.

She wears three platinum neck rings that are only given to the high-ranking military.

Green and silver sleeveless top that keeps hir arms free along with pants close to hir body so she moves easily.

Three platinum bracelets prove hir status as general.

And finally a sturdy pair of cow leather boots.

In Julien's route as the apprentice, I wanted to give hir a softer and more elegant appreance but she still has strength.

She still has hir muscles but she's subtly toned compared to hir army general counterpart. But both outfits have Anele's preference for clothes that won't get in hir way.

Outfit details:

She's mostly in white compared to Julian's black garb. Particularly the pants and top.

Anele's boots were crafted by Javier as a gift from Sipho for hir first birthday in Vesuvia and 2nd year under training.

She wears a black bodice.
