Selene's familiar is a European Badger named Juniper. She does tricks for chestnuts, would risk her life for belly rubs, and calls Julian "BOYFRIEND". Yes, in all-caps. Somehow she does that.

I had to draw @ladytesla ‘s girl, Selene. She’s such a cute character and goes through a lot of character development throughout the story. Best freckled girl!

A very crappy drawing of my apprentice Selene. She has hair that's almost as floofy as Asra's. She's extremely shy and lets @atouchofpan 's apprentice Sahara do most of the talking. However, make her mad (which is very hard to do) and she's a force of nature. She likes wind and storm magic, succulents, cinnamon bread, and dorky doctors with eyepatches.

Also she does the Ghibli Hair Thing when she's mad.

Aster and caladium?

Aster- Actually, Selene had a small crush on Julian before she died.  She’s got a thing for redheads.  She was far too shy to admit to anything, though, so he never knew about it.  But now she’s officially with Julian, so it’s all okay :)

Caladium- Selene likes music a lot.  She always pauses to listen to street musicians when she’s out running errands, and hums to herself when she’s working on potions or drying herbs for Asra and Sahara (atouchofpan’s apprentice) to use.  After the masquerade, she saves her money and gets Julian a viol of his own so he can play it for her.  She’s a very talented singer herself, but has stage fright so she rarely sings in front of other people.

Hyacinth!

Selene isn’t a very jealous person in general, but she has her own insecurities. She might cling a bit if she thinks her partner is paying more attention to someone else.  If she does get jealous, though, she’ll sulk rather than get angry.  She’s one of those annoying people who say ‘everything’s fine’ when it isn’t.

Sahara (Hari) and Selene (Sel) are cousins. We ( @ladytesla and I) created our Arcanaverse with two apprentices. It’s a bit complicated and we’re still figuring out how the later chapters would work, but it’s so fun to have them together.

Hari and Sel are very close, almost to the point of being sisters. They’re loyal to each other. However, Hari is very over protective at the beginning of the story and Sel is dependent on her and Asra. However, Hari learns to let go just as Sel is learning she is stronger than she gives herself credit for.

I’m still learning how to draw people, so my anatomy and stuff is still off. Still, I love how it came out.
