How would Zarco feel if he’s gifted cantuta flowers? (asking for Quetzalli)

This boy lights up like a Christmas tree in these situations. He gets embarrassed pretty easily when people give him gifts but he absolutely cherishes them, so you get a big wide smile as his face heats up, his skin tone hides it though. And the fact that Quetzalli knew his favorite flower, and he knows those are found in very specific areas in the world, and she got them anyway? He’s going to make sure those flowers stay alive for a very long time.

Bonus:

He thinks they look quite nice and he’s already got some ideas on how to repay Quetzalli.

(As warm as Zarco is, I realize that I’ve never drawn him with a smile? So, I tried)

This was for the The Arcana Neon Noir AU the server I am in! In such a world, Zarco would be the owner and bartender of La Bruja, a bar/speakeasy. I’ll repeat what I said in the server:

“Zarco is the owner and bartender of a bar/speakeasy La Bruja. The bar is a little better than most, as Zarco made a deal with the Queen of Pentacles, and for the most part, is one of the few relatively safe spots in the city where people can wind down. He sells drinks, he listens to folks, and at this point has a good system of information on almost everyone. Not that he would reveal his hands, but his cats do have eyes and ears...”

Also the tattoo was an idea for folks with magic to be able to identify each other, since magic is kept on the down low.

And last but most certainly not least, Zora belongs to @sunfirestar! The imagery of Zora walking in with her tiger like she owns the place is soooo cool! When I’m done with the text adventure game I’m making this week, I’d love to draw Zora.

Zarco just gazed at Syl with a smile. This was a nice change from travelling relatively alone in these months.

@chrysanthedadteadrink ‘s Syl and my Zarco as travel companions is such as cool idea, so I had to draw one scene of their downtime moments. Where are the horses? Where is the fire? What’s going on with the background?
