1. If you had to listen to one song on repeat for the rest of your life, which song would you choose?
God, I don't think I could pick one, but my top played songs are Hard to Explain by The Strokes and She's Thunderstorms by Arctic Monkeys. Honorable mentions go to Glass by Julian Casablancas and Love is a Laserquest by Arctic Monkeys.
2. Are you in school/college? If so, what are you studying?
I've already graduated from college, but I studied social science with a minor in international studies. I was 3 credits away from a minor in Japanese, but they didn't have the class I needed. I'd like to go back to school soon, maybe for counseling or social work.
3. Do you have a favorite book? What is it?
Honestly, I'm not a huge reader, but I wish I was. It's mostly because I start books and never finish them, or if I do it's months later. I don't know why. For example, I'm in the middle of reading 3 right now. I'll have to go with Harry Potter...probably Prisoner of Azkaban.
4. Are you interested in politics or any political issues?
I am! I volunteer for OFA, which is President Obama's Organizing For America. I do canvassing and voter registration. I watch a lot of MSNBC and CNN. I try to be knowledgeable on all issues.
5. Favorite drink (alcoholic or not)?
I'm not much of a drinker, but when I do it's usually a margarita.
6. What is one thing that always makes you smile?
I'd have to say concerts, especially my favorite bands. I'll find myself smiling the whole time.
7. How did you end up living where you live right now?
When I was in 8th grade my mom and stepdad moved us from Los Angeles to St. Louis for job reasons. They're divorced now so it was kind of pointless, but not in the grand scheme of things I suppose. I went to school here as well.
8. Do you like sports? Which ones?
I don't watch sports on tv or follow them, but I enjoy going to baseball games. I used to do track and field and tennis. I guess I should say dance is more my sport. Ballet, tap, and jazz.
9. Have you visited a country other than the one you live in?
Yes, I studied abroad in London, England. While there I also visited Edinburgh, Scotland, Paris, France, Wales, and Milan, Florence, Rome, and Venice, Italy. My uncle lives in Grenoble, France so sometimes we visit him.
I really don't know. There are so many places I would like to see. I feel like I should say Japan, just because I speak some of the language, but I've never been there.
11. Thing you like most about yourself.
I've been told I'm a very patient person/good listener. In that sense, I'd say I have a good understanding of where people are coming from and I don't get easily worked up over things.
