I can tell you like Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, but did you like Edward Norton as Bruce? I was bummed out that Ed wasn't able to play Bruce in The Avengers. That would have made the movie even BETTER, in my opinion. What do you think?
I did like Ed's Bruce even if The Incredible Hulk wasn't perfect I thought he was good in it and I liked his chemistry with Liv Tyler's Betty. If he had come back for the Avengers then I would have been fine with it.
I have to say though Mark's Bruce is just more how I see imagine the character - nerdy and awkward. The way Mark plays him with the slightly nervous energy just really works. I can't imagine anyone else playing Bruce now I just think Mark and Joss Whedon nailed the character perfectly.
