ok yall.. after rereading all the harry potter books and watching all the movies while high i am deep back into the harry potter world as though i’m 12 years old again. like the world created is just SO DEEP and satisfying and there’s so much going on and i’m straight up sitting here crying while re-reading the end of the deathly hallows for like the 4th time this month

when harry sees his parents’ ghosts and sirius and lupin before going to fight voldemort and his mom says “you’ve been so brave” i swear to god i cannot keep it together. those 4 words really just... like damn bro. so mf sad. also im reading this long ass fanfic that’s really good and set around the mauraders (it’s remusxsirius lmao) but GODD i just love this series & universe so much and i’m just so hardcore attached to it. amazing stuff. 

i only read up to the order of the phoenix when i was younger & gave up there (i watched the movies) but rereading all of the books together as a 17 y/o shows me how dark this shit is and man is it powerful. 

i’m also rereading the percy jackson books just for nostalgia’s sake and i’m on the lost hero now and i’ve forgotten how much i loved these books. like as a little kid i sped through all of them and they’re pretty long books. quarantine is proving to be a nostalgic joyride for me
