La jupe de cette toilette, faite en drap gris, est ajustée sur les hanches et très large au bord inférieur, on la garnit d'une bande d'étoffe rapportée sur la quelle on exécute, plusieurs rangées de piqûres. Le jaquette à longues basques coupées d'un seul morceau avec le haut du vêtement ne convient qu'aux personnes grandes et minces; on garnit les contours avec une broderie en soutaches lilas et argent et on recouvre le col rabattu avec du velours lilas. Les parements des manches, les pattes des poches et les petits revers sont ornés de broderie; on complète la jaquette par un gilet croisé en soie ou en drap lilas.

Chapeau en paille lilas garni de nœuds en ruban de velours d'une teinte plus foncée que celle de la paille et de fleurs nuancées.

The skirt of this ensemble, crafted from grey cloth, is fitted at the hips and flares out widely at the hem; it is trimmed with an applied fabric band featuring several rows of stitching. The jacket—distinguished by long tails cut in one piece with the bodice—is suitable only for tall, slender figures; its edges are trimmed with embroidery in lilac and silver soutache braid, and the turn-down collar is faced with lilac velvet. The sleeve cuffs, pocket flaps, and small lapels are adorned with embroidery; the jacket is completed by a double-breasted waistcoat in silk or lilac cloth.

A lilac straw hat, trimmed with velvet ribbon bows—in a shade darker than that of the straw—and with shaded flowers.
