#StormyDaySnippet Times like these I’m reminded to cry out with praise and thanksgiving…Shout with Victory through the storms of life… April storms may be fierce with lightning, whipping winds, and a pounding beat, but in the morn.. the skies are sunny, the winds have calmed, and you realize that by His Grace you’ve made it through. Praise Him through the storm and the storm passed much quicker and was not nearly as scary. God bless you. ~ Stormy Faye The Christian Runaway How Grand Is THE LORD GOD When You Seek His Face! Recently I ran across the above passage during another stormy road that I traveled. It’s amazing how when time passing you’re reminded of how far you’ve gone and how patient God is willing to be during your times of detours. I don’t know about you, but I’ve detoured a time or two. I grabbed His blessings and praised Him. Then a day or two, or whatever the time span, I wandered off away (again), only to encounter another stormy day, a rapidly moving weather system. My led astray ways left me, uncovered, without His protective umbrella, His shield. I could have been chilling, watching it all go down, from a distance, in my humble abode. But no, not I! I got a little weather-beaten by the effects of life, have a few spiritual war scars and stripes. Then He, reminds me of His protection and His grace and His mercy- His covering from ALL afflictions that may attack me. He already knows what tempted me to leave His cozy sheltering, what caught my attention, what I hid in my heart and from the eyes of others. He’s quick to forgive me when I come to Him, truly and fully, through Christ Jesus. He is God. Once again- How Grand Is THE LORD GOD When You Seek His Face! Do you have a storm story to share with anybody? Encourage somebody to help them make it, with whatever they are going through today. Be a storm shelter that they know that they are not alone, in the darkness.
