Object Study by CinderR0SE for today’s prompt #aprilcolors2019 I chose to paint one of my beautiful cat skulls from skullery @parliamentrook named “dark neon”. Loved back lighting this to really get the full effect of how the colors shift💀💀💀 __________________________________________

Day 2! Prettiest insect. My favorite is the Luna moth. I tried to redraw this in my style instead of drawing realistically, but last night I didn’t have time to finish it for today. So for today I posted all versions I created. Sometimes I have days where I feel confident with my paintings, and then later I’ll feel like it doesn’t look right. Depending how far along in the painting I might redo it. Technically day 2 of #aprilcolorschallenge / #faunwoodcolors : Analogus color scheme, but I think I went overboard. 👀💦Lighting is not great... Oh well. Tried out a technique I learned from @mattbrun using Copic ink to add a bit of subtle color to the background.
