The reason art has value, and ai doesnt, is that with every piece you draw, paint, write, collage, fold, sculpt, or make has a little piece of you in it wether visible or not.

Ai art (and traced ai) is soulless. It has no part of you or anyone in it, it just tries to copy what someone else has already spent the time and effort into making and looses that little piece that made it special.

So create something, even if its not "good" at least it has a little bit of you that makes you special~

So... i think i need to stop censoring myself in my work. Or at least stop worrying about intense topics being in my work and putting warnings on it with a million red flags and yellow tape before any readers even touch that point. Its good to put content warnings, but puritan culture i think has started to effect my and many other comic creators writing styles because we are expected to put content warnings everywhere for the smallest things.

Most webtoons comics pit warnings at the start of a strip for the content discussed or seen in that page and sometimes thats fine (like for sexual assault or graphic violence). But I was looking at my pokemon nuzlocke comic and comparing it to my original comic I'm working on rn and I... put an anxiety warning on my pokemon nuzlocke comic... why did I do that???

If you aren't aware of the pokemon nuzlocke comic sphere (there are many great comics i highly recommend reading them!) blood and intense emotions are literally part of the genre. Death happens, is expected, and your protagonist will always be going through it. So why did I put an anxiety blurb on my comic??? I don't even know but it's making me mad thinking about how censorship and puritan culture have been moving into the comic sphere more and more and I even was starting to get affected!

So... I'm going to just let my stories happen. Dark stuff will still be there, I'm not censoring that, but Im not going to warn my audience about every little thing that might upset my readers. I'll put general warnings, but leave the rest up to my readers to read for themselves. If people have problems, then thats fine. This isn't the story for them.

My comic is for you to read not censor, and that is something I will stand by from now on~

The job market is ROUGH rough right now. This Slime Girl I know, she's not found a single opening in high level zones as a boss fight, so she decided to settle for midboss, but there's not even midboss openings right now. Her statline is huge, but she had to settle for random encounter... In a beginner area.

We were hanging out yesterday and she kept complaining not just about the humiliation of having to be a beginner area random encounter, but also about how her whole thing just doesn't work against weak opponents: She steals moves from the party and then uses them against them, but she's only stolen dogshit beginner moves as of late, and it's getting to her. She stole [Aimed Shot] from a beginner Archer. [Aimed Shot]. Yeah I sure fucking hope you're aiming if you're using a bow. She also stole [Shield Bash] from a Brawler. Congratulations, you are using the shield as intended. She just up and left when she stole [Heavy Slice]. Didn't even give them loot.

She used to steal moves like [Earthborn Sun] and [Philosophy Of The Scorned], we NEED to do something. Her moveset sucks.

I feel like because of the political climate rn, more and more company ceo's think its "safe" and "okay" to show their actual views on trans people and its pissing me off.

Sticker ninja's ceo is transphobic. Sticker mule is racist (and probably also transphobic). I have no idea who else is now too.

Luckily i heard of a sticker printing copany called Death By Stickers that supports trans people opening so if you need a sticker printer alternative, they have crazy good prices~

Anyway, im fucking tired.
