on this day, 30 years ago, my hometown and the city I love immensely and wholeheartedly was liberated from Georgian aggressors. September 27, 1993 - the day of the Liberation of Sukhum (from Georgian invaders), - is the day I will always remember from my grandmother's stories of faint hope and fear, still prevailing. if anyone wants to read more about this day in the history of Georgian-Abkhaz War of 1992-1993, you can do so here:
