The series is a passport of places and people around the world, imagined with the simplest digital illustrations. Colors play an important role to distinguish seasons, and together with overlapped silhouettes a glimpse into a moment around the world is captured. The exotic choices of shades, as well as the textured trap the emotions of festivity and travel. Here, difference is celebrated and sorted as a jigsaw puzzle coming together to find missing pieces of identity. A unity is achieved through using a similar illustration style, where the beauty of culture is given the center stage.

I hope AQ Studio’s new project isn’t left in limbo, or outright cancelled.

Midwest Angelica was brilliant and Codex Aquazone has IMMENSE potential.
