imagine you see crowley right. that guy. you love crowley. then you see this dude who looks like him but with scary ass human eyes and NONE of the personality that makes him so amazing. where's his tattoo. why are his clothes flowing around like that. why is he in *white*. his EYES what happened to his wings

and you know it's gonna be relevant. and you think oh god. they're really gonna go there aren't they.

and then aziraphale goes "like old times" and you die a little inside because oh god what thw fuck what the fucking fuck

and the fandom LOVES angel crowley. they adore him. he gives me uncanny valley

and! and it's no longer 6000 years! the ineffables didn't meet on earth anymore! whether crowley remembers is kinda debatable but NOW aziraphale's all fucked up too because he might not have just extended that wing out of kindness, which was huge, he might have just done it because he knew crowley it's so bad

that first conversation in 1x01 loses so much gravity and i love that scene everybody loves that scene

pre fall scene feels like i should look away. should evacuate the premises. it's this giant ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ in my head and oh my god

i don't think aziraphale extended his wing in eden just because he knew crowley, i think he really just did it out of kindness the same way he helped gabriel - sure, it was out of need to understand what the actual shit was going on, but towards the end of the season it really became a matter of just protection and kindness. that's just how he's wired, both with the archangel who wanted to murder him and with the angel he met once or twice, who never gave his name, who now is a demon

and idk rewatching the eden scene i don't really think it loses gravity, the two scenes are two sides of the same coin, a before and after that interwine incredibly imo, crowley is still the one asking questions - now with more detachment than before - and aziraphale is still the one defending the plan and saying it's best not to speculate

they're really the same as before only more serious because well. last time they both saw what happened

Crowley growls under his breath at Aziraphale's obstinance and leans in. "I'd need a crew," he hisses through his teeth.

Confusion replaces his fear and Aziraphale’s brow furrows. "Why is that such a secr– "

"We can help!" Adam interrupts excitedly, and the rest of The Them loudly agree, all four of them chattering over each other at Aziraphale.

"Thought that might happen," Crowley says, raising an unimpressed brow.

😬 A headcanon about the worst thing they’ve done (Crowley)

honestly, probably not much LMAO. i like to imagine he's been to jail a number of times for relatively lame things like slashing tires or being drunk in public, trespassing for sure, but just like show crowley he's mostly. a sad angry person who bottles it up hardcore

🖕 A headcanon relating to anger (Crowley)

without giving too much away, crowley has been rationalizing his way out of feeling his feelings for a very very long time and he's reaching his breaking point around the climax of this fic 👀

👗 A headcanon about their clothes (Aziraphale)

yesss okay so human aziraphale in my fic wears argyle and tartan and herringbone, all in a variety of soft tans, creams, blues, etc, lots of light colors and layers - to go to work he wears some variation of what he wears in the show and on weekends i picture him as a cosy sweater kind of guy. lots of cable-knit sweaters in the winter. and he wears dad shorts in the summer no one can change my mind

👻 A headcanon about what scares them (Aziraphale)

i think what scares this version of aziraphale is lacking control; more than anything he's trying not to inadvertently harm the people he cares about, to the extent that he's willing to cause moderate intentional harm to avoid unintentional fallout. he needs to control the narrative and he's doing an absolutely terrible job of it

8. Do you prefer white, milk, or dark chocolate?

ANOTHER HARD QUESTION bc let's be real i'm using all three for different things, i'll enjoy a little dark chocolate on its own but it's so much better as part of a ganache or syrup or component in a baked good/dessert bc it adds balance to overly-sweet things. if im just eating chocolate as a treat on its own i'm going milk chocolate with some kind of fruit or toffee because i am a grown child and i love sugar. and white chocolate is for me only a topper/addition and btw goes really great with almonds and cherries, make yourself some white chocolate cherry almond scones and thank me later

17. How would you describe your spice tolerance?

ooooh this is a good one. i like spicy food and i do actively seek out spice; hot cheetos are something i can eat a whole bag of, no sweat. i like the heat of most things but often i don't enjoy the taste if that makes sense? i like the sensation but spicy foods can be bitter or acrid and i'm rarely seeking out that taste specifically, i'm more going for the tingling hot face yum ouch.

i am however deeply, deeply afraid of thai spice. i am always going one single pepper on the spice level menu at any thai restaurant, something about thai food.... that's not just yum hot ouch, that's havoc on my tum.....

83. Are there any foods that give you headaches?

ohhh that's a weird one. i don't think so ? i guess if i eat too much sugar and not enough everything else i get a headache!

4. how did your elementary school teachers describe you?

“a pleasure to have in class.” also creative :) i was quiet and bookish and usually writing stories or making comics when we had free time. i used to make my own books and my teachers would read them and put them in our class library ^_^ (copy+pasted from prev ask sorry haha)

22. role model?

amazingphil / phil lester !! i’ve looked up to him ever since i was a kid, like <10 years old. i just think he’s so cool and creative. back when youtube was at its peak, i feel like he and jenna marbles were kind of the brains behind all the “challenges” and “tags” that existed. i also like how he keeps to himself and values his privacy — i have a bad habit of oversharing, but i hold that same value. especially bc in the past i have had a very strong online presence, so it’s good to know what to keep personal and to yourself and what you just… put out there.

and then there’s the fact that he’s driven and gets what he wants; dan jokingly calls him a “sell out”, but it’s like to me if phil wants to do something, it will get done one way or another. and how he went to got his masters for video editing, and also when you can tell he enjoys things. plus, he sticks strongly to his, like… image, which can seem shallow, i know, but when he wanted to keep things more pg, he was so careful about it, and he’s so considerate of his viewers (i’ve made a post abt this in the past, how he reassured the audience he and dan are friends, when i know, if i were a creator, i wouldn’t have even thought abt that fear ppl have).

i know i’m getting parasocial, and phil could be an absolute menace off camera (i’m choosing to ignore what others have said abt him — that he’s really just a decent person 😭), but what he does choose to show, i really respect and admire. also, him coming out and having pride just really makes me happy, especially as a lesbian who has struggled with her sexuality. he makes me feel like things can get better, and seeing gay people older than me be happy and successful is really fulfilling.

GOD. asking this of a past english and creative writing student is just. cruel.

“dogfish” by mary oliver has inspired my own poetry.

“Have you ever heard of moderation?” Aziraphale asks, raising a brow at the pink box full of various pastries and baked goods Crowley dropped on his desk.

“Heard of it,” Crowley says, tilting his head back and forth, “didn't care for it. Not for me. Anyway, there you go. Dig in.”

"When I said surprise me," Aziraphale says, eyeing the pastries with a hunger he can’t help but be relieved to feel, "I meant with one menu item."

"Well, you didn't say that, did you?" Crowley says with a huff, crossing his arms. "I don't know your tastes yet, I figured it's hard to go wrong with a box of pastries."

"You could have asked Nina what I typically order," Aziraphale says, ignoring the hopeful thrill he feels at that little yet and its implication of continued interest. "She surely would have had a suggestion."

Crowley scoffs. "Absolutely not. She's too nosy for her own good. And rude. Y'know what she asked me today? ‘What's your deal?’" He throws his palms out, face screwed up in confusion. "The Hell d'you mean, what's my deal, what's that supposed to mean? And she just gestured to all of me and walked away!"
