Aquaponics reflection week 4

This week in relation to the aquaponics project was a step backward for us to take two steps forward. We went back to basics and gathered what it really means to design s product. We researched the steps of a design team and where we are at. We then noticed our flaws and achievements in staying on a good design timeline. We were good in completing everything needed in a design team but the only thing was is that we did them in some what a wrong order. We should have gone together as a team through the steps to be on level ground but instead we all went different ways and now are sorta unclear on where we stand. This exercise really helped us gain a grip on what has to happen and what we have realistically accomplished. We didn't have very specific goals for this week and because we only got little to no project time we understandable did not finish our tasks. But we were given more task that from what I know were completed in the time allotted. Challenges faced included getting work done because we had no time. We over come this by completing the tasks we were given in class and counting on time to finish our jobs on a later date. Another was cutting precisely with the new materials. We solved this by getting help from mr Keneko who showed us how to cut correctly. This method really helped and I am glad I asked for help from him. Steps for next week include finalize myth by getting it checked by more people, go over video story board and start planning, finish creating foam prototype, check where and how we are going in relation to a proper design timeline, and come together in meeting to get on common ground again.
