Same.  I’ve been thinking about it a lot, and about the way ships with POC (whether mixed-race pairings or all-POC ships) are marginalized hardcore, even when there’s plenty of real, actual, canon to be sited to support the ship.  NEVAR FORGET Sam and Steve’s meet-cute.  NEVAR FORGET the entirety of Rhodey’s presence in both 616 and the MCU, where he’s been at Tony’s side from the start of both universes (well he showed up a little bit after Iron Man’s 616 debut, but not long after).  It gets lonely reppin’ these pairings with just like ten other fans, and I’m also finding that it’s hard to talk about these things upon my return a few months ago.  This new concept of “anti” means that the tonyrhodey tag is also littered with Steve/Bucky hate - that pairing, specifically.  I don’t know why those two in particular draw ire, but I think it’s probably to do with their whiteness and their popularity.  I don’t love the fact that my multiracial OTP isn’t very popular either, but that’s no reason to litter that pairing’s tags with hate for another ship.  Bummer!
