I love waking up and feeling loved. Even though you’re over a thousand miles away, somehow I still feel like you’re here. It’s times like this I get giddy and teary eyed because Lord knows my life has been nothing short of incredible lately. I am getting married to my best friend in less than two months. Closer to one, actually. I literally can’t wait to pick you up from the airport and kiss you and hug you and hold your hand. But I honestly can’t wait until that moment when the doors open and I walk in that place and see you and all of our friends and family. I can’t wait to talk about how much I love you and how I feel like a changed person because of the love you’ve helped me find within myself. How I feel like I’m worth something and I’m beautiful and lovely. Things just a year ago I would have shrugged my shoulders at the thought of. But now, I feel grown up. And I feel so in love with you. I am so in love with you. You make me a better me and I am so thankful for that. You are the most incredible person to have ever stumbled into my life and I have never been so grateful before for anything. It’s going to be a very magical day. I cannot wait to say “I do” :)))

I love that feeling I get after working out. I love the sweat and the soreness. It feels great to see results and knowing that I can do anything I set my mind to. It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle :) I'm going to be SO HOT for our wedding :)))

I had such an amazing time this weekend with my *giggle* fiancé :D ugh. We just hung out and were our crazy selfs. It was perfect. I love how we don't have to be doing anything yet we still have a great time. We literally sat and stared at the ocean for an hour or so and it was, perfect. Well, perfectly imperfect but you get what I mean. I am so thankful and grateful I got the opportunity to visit him for his birthday :) it was loads of fun and the next time I see him, we'll be getting married<33 needless to say, I'm beyond excited and I'm in full planning mode! Everything is finally falling into place and I couldn't be happier:)

Nathaniel Joe Baker. Quite possibly the most amazing person I’ve ever met. Crushed so hard on him when I first laid eyes on the sexy guy and now he’s all mine:) he supports me and loves me unconditionally. I can honestly say that I am so freaking blessed and absolutely positive that this is the man I’m meant to marry. The man who will father my children and be with me until we’re in the ground. He’s my other half and goodness gracious, do I love him. So here’s to you babe, for being everything I could have asked for and more. You truly are amazing♥

February 6th

To anyone else, today is just another day, another X on the calendar. But to me, today is the day that my life changed for the better. One year ago today, the love of my life asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes almost immediately. Even through the time apart, I never stopped loving you. And I never will. I go to sleep every night thinking about you, us. Hell I’ve been doing that a lot longer than a year. I crushed on you since the second I got to Richland but it wasn’t until senior year we really became friends.

Anyways, thank you for making this past year so incredibly amazing. Thank you for treating me so well and like the lady I am. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face, even when I’m mad enough to punch a wall. I’ll never understand how you have that power over me, but I’m so happy you do. But mostly, thank you for being you. Because you truly are one in a billion and I couldn’t be happier that we found each other when we did. Here’s to many, many more years together.

And even though our wedding anniversary will be May 21st, I’m still gonna celebrate February 6th each year as well :) I love you, Nathaniel Joe. You are my everything♥

Now the only thing about today that sucks is the part where you’re still 1000 miles away :( but in one month and nine days, we’ll be together again♥

It’s like all at once, the weight on my shoulders has been lifted. I love you and you mean more than you could ever understand to me. Thank you for taking this step with me. I know it seems crazy and hypocritical after all the hate I’ve spewed before but I finally feel like I need this in my life, like it finally has a place and meaning. Some will laugh, some will judge, but we are stronger than that. I am more than excited to take this leap of faith with you. Literally.♥
