Got a great run in with the couch to 5K app (I'm on week two day two) and did the following circuit :) tomorrow is upper body and a long walk rather than a run. I'm getting serious about this now. It's a lifestyle change and I'm ready. My lower body circuit included two 1 minute elbow planks, 60 total side/back lunge combos (30 each leg), 40 total one-leg jumps (20 each leg), 50 shoulder width heel bridges, 50 wide heel bridges, and 60 squats with an alternating knee up. I'm POOPED and ready for a big salad and an ice cold water :)

In two very short, yet very long, weeks I'll be walking down the aisle and getting married to my best friend. I'm not going to lie, I'm scared. I'm not sure if either of us is ready for such a commitment but I know I want to try. I know that this man is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I know that when I'm sad or upset even over a broken nail, he tries his hardest to cheer me up. I know that when I'm hugging him or cuddling with him, I truly feel safe. I know that when we kiss, it's electrifying and it gives me shivers. I know that I love him. I also know that in this day and age, love can sometimes not be enough. That's what scares me. I'm hoping and praying that we will continue to grow and love the way we have so far. I see a future with him and a family that I hope is full of happiness. It's hard to get over preconceived notions and realize reality is anything but full of happiness but a girl can hope, right? I just really want everything to be right in the world. He makes me feel like I belong and I struggle with that every single day here. I keep dissecting my thoughts and wondering if this is the best decision at this time and you know what? I'm done. I know what I know and I can't see into the future. I have our love to hold onto but that's about it. I'm just ready to do something with my life and for it to have meaning.

Didn't get to walk today because of the weather but got a lot of packing done and did my other workout. Holy shit my abs are sore. Picking up my wedding dress tomorrow from the tailor! Fingers crossed it looks alright :))

Here's how I see it

Life kinda sucks. You win some, but honestly you lose most of the time. I feel like once you capture the moment and find a way to be, not happy but just okay with any situation, you’re grown up. And once you can find the strength within yourself to say “fuck you” to anything or anyone who stands in the way of your happiness, you’ve truly won.

It took, and continues to take, everything in my power to do these things. My life is a constant struggle but I’m content with the way things are and I absolutely adore a few special aspects of my crazy life :) I’ve found a few ways to kick back and relax even as the storm comes crashing through. And mind you, the storm of my life is anything but forgiving. With wedding plans falling through daily, trying to find money where it doesn’t exist, and constantly feeling like half of me is missing, I’d say I’m doing a damn good job staying cool and collected.

I’m ready to be an adult and have an adult life. Shit, I sure as hell hope I am considering in about a month I’ll be a wife to the most incredible man I’ve ever met.

I don’t know what the point of this post was. I just enjoy using tumblr as my sorta kinda diary. Anyways, goodnight everyone :)
