It was a little inevitable after the whole Teucer debacle that the two of them would grow a little closer - while the age difference between himself and Lumine wasn't nearly as great as that of Childe and his younger brother, he could understand the need to keep a sibling out of harm's way. Being an older brother meant that little white lies had to made from time to time, meant that there were just some things that would have to be told later on. That was an understanding the two of them had come to.
Being more familiar also meant that the other was much more casual about greeting him too - Aether simply standing on the side of road and counting out the mora needed for a grilled tiger fish when a certain greeting smacked him right in the ear.
One concealed yelp and dropped mora later, Aether shot a sharp gaze at the other. "A 'hello' would've been fine too, you know."

{ It depends on where the praise comes from, of course. He expects those beneath him to glorify anything he does. But when it comes from someone he considers an equal or even above him he will murmur a quiet, '...Thank you.' in response.
The moment will then pass, and Scaramouche will continue on like nothing strange had occurred.

7. Is your muse difficult to ship with?
&& how to put this in the most delicate way possible- HOLYFUCKINGGODSYESHEIS- this man is SO difficult all the time i swear to god. he is a defcon tsundere. his emotional repression is like the goddamn sword in the stone.
however, he's kind of like the death star. seems like fort knox- seems impossible to get through to, but there's a critical weakspot that's just gonna make him implode.
that being said :) i like to be accurate in my portrayal and not make him too soft, but i'm not so focused on that that i won't make openings for other characters to latch onto. he's a difficult man, but even he slips up. i wouldn't say he deserves love nor will openly admit that he wants it, but that's why him tripping head-over-heels into it by accident is all the sweeter ;
8. Does your muse get jealous easily?
&& ...yes. but he'll never admit it. he'll just be inexplicably sour around his s/o until they finally ask him what's wrong, and then he'll just blame them for it. he's awful. he's awful, don't love him. he's terrible at explaining himself and what he's feeling and he'd rather just murder his feelings at any given moment ;

Her breath left her in labored pants, brows drawn together and head spinning from the blow she had sustained earlier. Now that the adrenaline was starting to thin out of her veins, the aches of battle was beginning to settle in her bones. Hearing a voice, however, she went for her blade once more—only to relax, upon realizing who it was.
Limine barely managed to keep herself from rolling her eyes at him, before she gingerly picked herself off the ground.
" I'd sure hope not, " she threw at him, in mostly good humor, " seeing how we are in this situation because of you. " A small grumble as she crossed her arms over her chest, before her eyes scanned about. It looks like they had taken care of all of their enemies, at the very least. " Can we get out of here now? "
