Gossip Much Mike?

What is this, international reblog Mike’s oldies day?  I like that, LOL and nothing wrong with my ego.  Just logged in and saw unexpected random hearts on a couple of them.  Looks like Joy and Lauren may be the perpetrators. Sigh and greetings my dear friends, as previously whined I have the flu, and am currently not a happy camper, but courtesy of one young friend at work I have a large supply of Dayquil, Nyquill and cough drops.  I know this is kind of a random gossipy post, but I just saw a heart from My Number 1 Tumblr Hero, Tricia Sarmiento.  Keep kickin’ it girl, they got nothin’ on you.  Mega Heart! Let’s see, I also heard a most evile (typo intentional for a change) and unsubstantiated rumor that we have not one but two birthday girls to celebrate today.  I seems both Joy and Karen blessed us all with their presence a mere 20 or 30 years ago on this very day.  Do give them some love, and I’ll see what I can do.  Love to all, Mike.

I will be cleaning up this blog again.  right now I’m about due for my mid morning nap... hahaha    

I’m quietly excited about reshaping the TWC into something more meaningful to each of us.  

Yes, I do love the Tumblr Writing Community. 

Yes, I’ve always held it to be much more than a clique. 

I’ve seen many people come and go, and made many friends along the way.  I’ve also noted there are plenty of sub-groups of friends, and there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this.

This writing community is your mirror, make of it what you wish it to be.

Queens of Hearts

I’ve been reading and enjoying Lauren’s excellent interview with Wolfie this morning and I couldn’t help but notice that her’s along with Joy’s appear to be among the most popular and well received of a very excellent and growing group.  While it’s not a competition and of course talent comes in to play, I can’t help but remember Joy’s Quote that I’ve already borrowed a few times, and believe there may be a bigger reason for their wonderful reception.  To quote Joy again, “It’s all about the hearts people”, and I can think of few if any who freely share more heart, love and kindness than these two.  Bravo ladies dear friends.  Love to all.
