the sweet feeling of her warm bed quickly ended up being ruined by the headache following each movement, weather it be walking or even simply turning her head. did she had regrets? perhaps not, and despite her hazy memories of last night, the nurse had to admit she had her fun. after all, those moments were few and far between, and the rest (could it be really called that?) was more than deserved.

the reply to the text sent a few moments prior made her laugh, quickly followed by a slight groan of pain, prompting her to lie down a bit longer.

no words escaped her lips, barely a ❝hm❞ followed by a slight nod of the head. leaning against some rocks, her gaze left him to look at the skies, her furrowed brows showing a deep thinking. oh, Prisca didn’t even knew what prompted her to say that, what kind of bitter melancholy made those words leave her lips. yet, there was something hopeful in his reply — not enough to get rid of the gloom, but better than nothing.
