I mean how beautifully bookended it is that she starts saying goodbye to him with “don’t leave me” and the second to last thing she says to him is promising “I will never leave you”? it’s great? her entire death is great? it’s like Jude Watson just went ‘I see your ‘kill female characters for manpain’ deaths and raise you... the death of a female character who will have complete agency in her own death, and instead of causing manpain her death will relieve manpain.’ and yet it’s so sad too because gdi Siri was worth so much than being shot by a bounty hunter when she was unarmed. and her death is so selfless it kills me.

(somebody, probably: Jude you can’t possibly kill a lady love and have it relieve panpain that’s not how lady loves die.   Jude Watson, the goddess she is: fuckin’ watch me. *does it*)

i honestly didn't know much about siri before i saw this blog, and i think we've known each other since you created it. i bounce around blogs a lot but it's wonderful to see someone as nice as you with a blog as wonderful as this hanging around for so long. it's a rare pairing, but you're the whole package.

Why thanks! ( I think it’s fairly common that most people around here didn’t know much about Siri before stumbling on my blog, and I consider it quite a good thing indeed that I’m introducing more people to my girl. ) 

I think you’re right that we’ve known each other about that long. I don’t remember all your previous blogs, but I do remember one of your other Obi-Wan blogs, which was excellent, as this one is. ( Obviously. Because the writer -- aka you -- is the same. )

        Hand moves to catch the jedi’s head as he began to fall towards her,   mild alarm and  worry  for him as she searched his face for anything that could be amiss.    There’s a small exhale of breath,   a sigh,   once the exhaustion is recognized.    It’s a feeling she knew all too well herself,   with how chaotic things could be.    She can only  imagine  what a Jedi would go through.    

       Carefully,   she moves to stand,   easing his head  gently  onto the lounge.    Allowing his head to softly rest against the cushions,  moving her hands away as slowly and silently as she could.    He’s earned his sleep,   and she certainly won’t be the one to wake him.      @jedichose​

                   THERE  IS      a  slight  hesitance ,  as  if   unsure  how  to  impart  the  lesson  that  he’d  like  to .  he  hums ,  hands  folding  into  his  robe .

it's been-- a LONG TIME since he's seen his brother. and to say it was a long time was to really say something for them. time seemed to move differently for the immortals. it took a lot to dub a long time, but that's what it had been. brendan had gone his separate ways long ago, wanting to explore the world for himself. wanting to see how much MORE could be out there outside of the small family he'd known.

the last thing he'd anticipated when he reunited with ben was that he'd seem so... different. he was supposed to be a constant. he had to wonder, what exactly had happened in their time apart.

the movement of gaze is slow. something that could be mistaken for careless or bored. but in reality, it careful. thought out. ben takes his time about everything. meticulous in each action. nothing is without thought, and the way he fixes his brother with his gaze is just so.

and so, head raises, slow but sure. and there is a raising of a single brow as he looks to the other. half evident, just in the corner, is a smirk that grows.

"how desperate must you be, dear one, to be buying into deals with the enemy." flash of red in gaze-- and ben wonders if this is what winning feels like.
