The Saints
Yes pleasee show the religion notes 🙏
Okie dokie theeeenn
Two main religions. The Guardians and the Angels. (Lowkey don't have a name for the religions yet, nor names for the followers. And highkey open to ideas if anyone has any.)
The Guardian has a more complicated structure. Being embarrassingly most similar to Christianity. I'm having it largely Catholic with the presence of sacraments, Saints to pray to, and roles like a bishop or priest (Maybe even pope) to be the people in power of the church. (And lowkey, catholic clothing goes hard. That has so much aura. Im giving that to the gaurdian because he would not settle for something mid) Cozen is largely this religion. Despite the gaurdian being a magic user and Cozen currently having a disdaine for magic, the church was mainly formed out of a need to not be prosecuted. The religion is more ment to convince that the Gaurdians magic is good, and can be trusted, and should be the only magic trusted (forshadowing). Because the entire reason the church was formed was because of the Gaurdians fight with the Dark Angel.
When the fight/entire war broke out. The gaurdians apostles (this is Christianity all over again) went on and started proselytizing to get this new religion established, to convincethe people suffering from the war and the Dark Angels magic to trust and side with the Guardian. These apostles were actually a friend group and later become the saints of the Gaurdian religion
Them ^
I also have how they all died
Uhhh anyways. Now there are the Angels. Maria and Eleanor. Their backstories aren't necessarily important. It's more of, how they even became angels. The main jist is just that. They were extremely faithful, but are also very useful for the Gaurdians bidding. They're essentially like spysfor him. What happened is when they died, they died for his sake and he went "Hey... you guys were pretty loyal. I have some doctrine that can make you guys immortal divine beings!" And being faithful they said yes to the deal. Being angels they have to follow rules of not being seen by humans or making themselves known or using their powers to interfere with anything. They are purely looking glasses for the Guardian. (Eleanor my goat, she breaks these rules.)
Ok ok. Now for the dark Angel. Her religion. Is much more like a cult. But it's not fully organized.
There are no higher members other than maybe a head leader of a specific area of the cult. The way this cult obtains members is through family lineage, a child inheriting the member status of the cult by either parent. A member would start a family within or outside the cult and teach the ideas of the Angel to the new generation. The Dark Angels main teachings is that members are just tools to carry out her righteous plan, and to be in total opposition to the gaurdian and his teachings. The Dark Angel promises power and glory to her followers, (as well as revenge of whatever they seek) if they follow her. Many of the non-magic users follower she has she blesses with her magic, but it does slowly kill them as, they are not actually magic users. (Magic is genetic. Magic users have an entirely different immune system and homeostasis for their bodies to handle their magic. Also her magic is decaying and she feeds off life force because shes slowly dying aswell, these people are like a snack to her.)
Now, kind of like how the Guardian has Angels. The Dark Angel has Gaurds. (They never truly got over each other. If only the gaurdian wasn't a douchebag.) These stone gaurds are just fallen soldiers that were under her control when she was fighting the Guardian. Brought back from the dead. ! She also can make deals with people like the Guardian, but that really is just more of how she gets followers.
That's really all I got for now. Uh. Working on arr slowly. 🫡 there so much more added and there are other thing I want to do. So...
May the spirit of the hyperfication I had on ar possess me agian. 🙏
Oh are we allowed to ask questions about the rewrite?
,,how is my beloved advisor doing? Is he advising? Is he staying out of the dungeon this time
Yes, you are in fact! I encourage it!
Oh Azzy, he's still advising, and although he does get thrown in the dungeon, James actually finds him, but for a good portion of s1, he has to stay quite before he can get him out. Mostly being a guard for Azraels cell and making sure he stays alive before he can do anything else that might alert Petro or Mark, (or God forbid whatever Petro has looming over his shoulder that he's listening too) to what he's planning.
Alux Rewrite - First Scene
The First Light
Original written story:
The stars winked and wispered in the night sky. Shining down with the moonlight pouring over the cut stone of paths and fountains in the garden. An Angel sits in the middle of a ring of white carnations. A light calls to her in the castle. Calling her name with crys and whines. It's Him again. Somehow, like He promised to her, He's here. The Angel seeps out of her statue and wakes up. The garden was quiet. She hadn't been awake for a while. But she could still see her friend across from her, like she always had. She doesn't want to go alone to meet Him. Carefully, she steps around the ring of flowers surrounding her and walks to the other statue. Still, she holds her blade and wears her armor. Even after almost 2,000 years, with no battel to fight in. The young angel goes up to her and pleads her to wake up, wispering
"Eleanor..."
And pulling on the other angels dress to bring her out of the statue.
"Eleanor!" She whispers again. Until the Angel appears and calls her name.
"Maria?"
"We have to go.."
Maria leads on, making her way to the main castle. Eleanor is just behind her, pleading.
"Go where? Why?"
"To meet Him."
They both knew who he was, but now? At this hour? Surely there's a better time. Eleanor thought so.
"Why now? It's late... We could get caught..."
Still Maria doesn't listen. Continuing along the stairs to the hallway, portraits and paintings of nobles, religious iconography, and landscapes on the wall trailing behind her, and she stops for a moment when she passes a Portrait of a Saint. She admires the painting of the woman. A young woman beautiful and peacful. Her name was Irene. The closest Saint to the Guardian.
Maria turns to Eleanor and says somberly,
"I miss her."
"... I do to..."
The moment was tender and full of mourning, but a baby's cry breaks them out of the moment. Maria rushes to the room, peaking over the heavy door of the nursery. They find the young prince in his crib crying for food and warmth. The young angel looks over the crib and admires the prince. She picks him up and holds him in her arms, but Eleanor urges her to put him down.
"He's just a baby, let him sleep."
"But he was crying! He's cold and hungry!"
"We shouldn't be here, Maria."
"But...he looks just like Him.."
The other angel sighs and takes the baby from her arms. "... He's a baby, Maria, he doesn't look like anything. "
"But just look at his eyes! He's there."
The baby's eyes were already green, unlike all the other babies in cozen whose are blue until a few months. She puts him back in his crib, and he starts to cry again. Something over him that he couldn't comprehend, but knew was there, and could only cry out for his mother. Footsteps are heard outside the chamber door,
"Did you hear that?
"Hear what?"
and they freeze for a second when the queen walks in.
They take flight and wiz past her through the castle and back to their statues. The queen looks back in confusion and slight horror. She clutches her amulet around her neck as she enters her son's room to tend to him. She sets her candel down and picks him up, rocking him back and forth to calm him down. The amulet glows and shines in his eyes. She looks at the doorway, worried and expecting. Waiting for the angels to appear again. They don't. She looks down again to see her son has stopped crying.
"Oh Alux, how am I going to protect you?"

Authors note:
OKAY. what the fuck am I doing?
Well. Ive started making ar rewrite!!!! Real!!!.
Now, obviously, completion of it is not guaranteed. A lot of things I want to do are not guaranteed. I want to try and follow the model this post sets up, with an animatic, the original writing I have, and a drawing for it, but obviously the animatics will probably be the thing that might kill it. If so, I'll probably just do a comic as a substitution. But anyways. I'm essentially making a little goodie basket for every plot important moment and scene of the story I want to make. I've decided to make ar rewrite very much mixed media (There's only so much I can do in one form.) So that I don't overwhelm myself in the making. (AND OFCOURES ELAN HAS TO ANNOUNCE HES MAKING ANOTHWE MINECRAFT SERIES SO IM GONNA GET DERAILED Anyways.)
This is the first "Scene"! Like in a full episode this is what you would see first. So technically this is just the beginning of episode one. (Idk how many episodes there are going to be in total. Lol. Still working on that.)
Anyways that's all for the authors note. If you have questions, theories, or just want to talk about ar rewrite. Come ask me! Or @carvedrobin
