built a nether portal with a big tree on it! Also, I'm back! welcome back me! thank me! Oh I'm so welcome!
Built a big cave underneath my nether portal tree connecting the little river outlet under the hospital bridge to the ocean. There's a little footpath off to the side on the tree entrance side that leads around to some boats, and also there's a ladder going up to the back side of the nether portal. Been a big water day.
finally finished this residential area now that LBPR is updated, along with adding in the first land border in the form of a wall between the nether portal/mountain/tree thingy and the mountain with the waterfall. I'll add in a few more houses around the wall and then its gonna be underground work for a bit and I dig into waterfall mountain and build a nice looking mine.
Wanted to showcase my new favorite house in Ara Infinitus!
Love the way this turned out, entirely survival ready and looks beautiful. The views of Ara Infinitus from this height are amazing, its really cool to look out and see the city you've built in all directions.
Progress is starting to look like its slowing down due to the fact that adding new houses doesnt change all that much about the whole kingdom, updates to Ara Infinitus will likely be more spread out to better showcase when a whole new area is done. As of right now, heres the kingdom with the market fully finished and looped around the noira. Next up on the agenda for big projects is probably a hospital, which will go pretty much right underneath where this picture was taken.
built a mountain with a waterfall to procrastinate finishing the hospital. it connects to the lake. y'know, i had planned on putting a bigger castle on the island that i turned into a lake. Also, with how much I've widened this river, I'll likely need to do the same to the river leading into the middle of Ara Infinitus, which likely means re-doing the bridge in the middle of the market section. That'll at least let me lop off a good chunk of market stalls, I feel like I built too many anyways.
The new housing district is pretty much complete! Not all the interiors are done but it still looks great from the outside, maybe a little untextured because i haven't dont their gardens either, but thats all just detailing and hardly noticed from a full view pic! Im Hitting the edges of my fov when viewing the whole city now, which is pretty cool. Planning on putting a hospital across the street from the edge of that housing discrict.
