// There's a good chance that Aracely's memory loss is self-inflicted. I also think that some of her positivity in New Warriors is her just. turning off her trauma. It's significant that her go-to emotion to project at people is fear, and it's all related.
// Aracely is very clearly supposed to be of Nahua descent but I don't know if she actually speaks Nahuatl (before the omnilingual power upgrade). When she shows up she's only speaking Spanish.
// I just saw a post of someone complaining their cookies weren't baking, and turns out they were too impatient to preheat the oven??
Anyway, which of your muses?
// Aracely probably needs therapy but lbr she'd be a therapist's worst nightmare.
// Actually one of the tragedies of the New Warriors falling apart is there's nobody to call Aracely out on suppressing her feelings.
There are two things I find very suspicious about Aracely. The first is that her default use of her powers is fear projection. The second is that (especially by New Warriors), she seems to be brushing off her trauma entirely too easily.
I think she's using her powers to suppress her fears and potentially off-load them onto others.
// Aracely and Jamie will both blurt out what people are feeling because they're young and they have poor impulse control and a direct brain-to-mouth connection.
River will do it solely to mess with people.
